Sage is Santa Cruz’s premiere Float Spa. Based near the beach in Capitola, CA this brand new spa was in need of design assets for all aspects of their business including, branding & identity, a website, exterior & interior signage, t-shirts, social media assets, trade show signage, marketing material, etc.
Their esthetic is beachy and approachable, yet clean and modern. I designed their identity around a green color palette that is pulled directly from the many green shades of sage. I also played off the ocean vibe of the neighborhood by adding beach water textures to many of the web and print elements.
Double M Bake Shop is new bakery based in Cary, North Carolina. Their baked goods are crafted with love and made with the highest quality ingredients, including organic and North Carolina-grown products.
I designed the Logo, packaging and website for their first line of sweet & savory granola.
The client wanted a classic vintage inspired identity that would stand out in local famers markets.

The Bold Italic is online magazine that equips readers with the rare intel and unique experiences that define San Francisco.
I designed online layouts and web assets for dozens of stories for the very popular San Francisco based site as well as wrote blog articles and did photography for several stories.
I’ve had the pleasure of incorporating my own photography into many of my design projects. I really enjoy the process and the hands on aspect of being my own photographer.
This is a small collection of some of my product photography for Ariat International. Many of these photos have been used online at Ariat.com, as social media posts, and on in-store signage nationwide.
Ariat is a leader in performance footwear and apparel for the world's top equestrian athletes. I create monthly marketing emails for Ariat, designed to appeal to very niche equestrian markets such as English riders and Western Cowboys; while still aiming to attract non-equestrian and fashion forward consumers. All emails feature my own product photography and copywriting.
Luis Buñuel is known as the Godfather of the surrealist film movement in the 1920's. His films often slowly reveal the truth behind his characters by peeling back the layers of their personalities throughout the film to eventually expose their true nature.
This festival poster was made out of 50+ preliminary poster versions that I designed during early explorations. As complex and surreal as Buñuel’s movies are, I found the design process for this festival to be even more so. After watching several of his films, I was able to piece together the common thread in his work and found a parallel between the layers of his characters and the many versions of posters I had designed.
Typographic explorations using unconventional materials.
The Stay Gold Project is based on my favorite childhood book, The Outsiders.
The project is meant to help remind people of the young and innocent parts of themselves that are still golden.
The project includes a video and screen printed cards that were handed out and left around the city as bright reminders to Stay Gold. The video features the famous Stay Gold balloons that brought smiles to faces all over San Francisco.
